Position Information Title Voting & Civic Action Ambassador Position Description MRISJ Overview:The mission of the Martin Richard Institute for Social Justice (MRISJ) is to build knowledge about social justice, to develop skills for advancing social justice through individual and collective action, and to serve as a catalyst for actualizing Bridgewater State Universitys commitment to social justice. Position Overview. The MRISJ is seeking to hire up to 6 students to serve as Voting and Civic Action Ambassadors (VCAA) for the 26-27 academic year. Together with MRISJ staff and the Newman Civic Fellow, VCAAs will build and enhance MRISJs civic action portfolio of student led activities and events. The VCAA will serve as an ambassador for on campus civic action work including voter education and voter registration events and other events that educate students on advocacy strategies on their campus and in their local communities.
