Job Title: Polishing Associate
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Essential Responsibilities
Support all activities in the Polishing Department, including:
Polish brass, silver, and gold parts using various polishing wheels, abrasives, and compounds.
Inspect finished work to ensure visual quality standards are met.
Apply different polishing techniques to achieve mirror-like finishes.
Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
Maintain personal responsibility for high-quality output.
Cross-train in other departments as needed.
Job Requirements
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Prior jewelry/precious metals polishing expereince and familiarity with operating manufacturing machinery.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop effective working relationships.
Ability to quickly learn and judge acceptable quality parameters.
Basic computer literacy and ability to work within manufacturing software.
Problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues.
Willingness to learn from mistakes and take ownership.
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
