CNC Operator / Machinist

Our client, Acushnet Company / Titleist, is seeking a CNC Operator / CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the Titleist Golf Ball manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CNC machining experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to use precision measuring tools.

What's the Job?

  • Set up, tram, and indicate all vises and fixtures with minimal downtime.
  • Safely load tooling into CNC equipment and load/unload components and materials.
  • Properly operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
  • Recognize, maintain, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
  • Operate CMM equipment to verify all molds and machined components are compliant with drawings and specifications.
  • Perform daily and scheduled maintenance on CNC machinery.
  • Follow all safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

  • Must successfully pass a background check and 10-panel drug test (includes THC/marijuana).
  • Vocational High School diploma or Machine Shop Apprenticeship preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating CNC Machining Centers.
  • Strong math skills and ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Strong understanding of blueprints and geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Able to modify CNC programs, make tool offset changes, and regulate speeds and feeds.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

  • Pay: $30.32/hour + 15% shift differential on 3rd shift; overtime available (1.5x).
  • Shift: Initial 2nd shift training (3 PM 11 PM), then 3rd shift (11 PM 7 AM), SundayThursday.
