Our technology organization is seeking a Chief Data Officer to join our growing team in Worcester, MA Corporate Headquarters, or remote work location consideration.
The Chief Data Officer (CDO) is a strategic senior leader responsible for defining and driving Hanover's enterprise data strategy and governance. Reporting to the EVP, Chief Technology & Innovation Officer, the CDO sets the vision for how data is collected, governed, and leveraged to create competitive advantage and fuel innovation. This role collaborates with other leaders in the organization to ensure our data is accurate, accessible, secure and actionable within a defined data taxonomy that enables advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration. As a key member of the technology leadership team, the CDO influences enterprise-wide decision-making and continues the advancement of the company's Data Culture. By collaborating with the different business-led D&A teams, the CDO will drive the data standardization and governance to strengthen the organizational capability. Through trusted and collaborative relationships and purposeful engagement, the CDO inspires others and leads through influence to create meaningful impact. This is a Full‑time, Exempt role.
