Explain VA education benefits, DoD tuition assistance, and Veteran Readiness and Employment, to students, parents, staff, faculty, and community partners. Troubleshoot and resolve issues presented via email, phone call, and walk-in, and explain requirements, regulations, and processes associated with DoD and VA education benefits, as well as the status of individual recipients Work with students, parents, and university staff to explain the students rights and responsibilities required for participation in DoD and VA programs while attending BSU. Respond to calls from students, parents, university staff/faculty, and the public regarding the financial aid process and the regulations that apply to the packaging, awarding, and receiving of federal, state, and private sources of financial aid, including a working understanding of the Montgomery GI Bill.
