This entry level warehouse job consists of performing a variety of tasks to assist the Distribution Center in operating efficiently. The duties include the following: - Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean work area. - Separates recyclable material from trash. - Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material. - Loads/unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers. - Handles, repackages and moves returned merchandise - Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department's daily operations - Assist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debris - Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards Qualifications 0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
