Performing simple or routine set-ups, operating computer console as needed, using simple measurement instrument to check work, completion of necessary paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. What you'll do: Wire Tester responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Read and comprehend production Standard Work, all Safety procedures, and Maintenance instructions. Performs daily safety inspection of work area. Performs daily inspection of the High Voltage Testing Equipment and PPE pursuant to those testing procedures. Performs Dielectric Checklist. Inspection of Switchboard Mat. Inspection of Leads Performs Dielectric set-up test to ensure ground protection is working properly. Receives and inspects cable from coilers.
