The College of Islamic Studies (CIS) was established as a hub for contemporary Islamic studies, promoting intellectual discourse on Islam within a global context. Offering ten graduate and postgraduate programs, CIS prepares students for careers in academia, research, as well as cultural, business, and finance sectors through specialized tracks. It also hosts renowned research centers and clusters, facilitating interdisciplinary dialogue and scholarship. CIS integrates academic Islamic principles with modern social sciences, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and scholarship.

HBKUs College of Islamic Studies seeks applications for the position of Associate Professor. The applicant will be responsible for conducting teaching, research, and service to contribute to HBKU becoming a world-class research university and collaborate with faculty members and students to create a vibrant university community that will positively impact and contribute to the development of Qatar and the region by advancing knowledge in their field and developing human capacity through their teaching. The selected candidate will also be responsible for serving as research faculty in the Master of Arts (MA) program in Counseling [Islamic] Psychology, this program is uniquely offered within an Islamically integrated framework.
