Overview

Semco Maritime is looking for an experienced Project Manager for Wind Service offshore projects within our Renewables division. If you want to lead the delivery of solutions within green energy and are passionate about your work, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects in the Renewable Service team, typically long-term service contracts or repair/modification tasks on offshore wind units, including offshore substations and balance of plant assets.
• Oversee all project phases from early Tender through Planning, Structure, Execution and Completion, collaborating with the project team.
• Hold technical and commercial responsibility for deliveries; a technical background plus commercial education or experience is advantageous.
• Act as primary client contact and ensure delivery according to contracts and Semco Maritime standards.
• Develop sharp project plans, foster team collaboration, and take ownership to ensure efficiency and progress across project phases.
• Engage in client and service lead communication, lead on both quotations and execution, clarify scopes/jobs, and prepare jobs including risk assessments.
• After-sales activities and pursuit of new opportunities.

Location & Travel

You will be based onshore at our office in Hamburg, Emden, or Esbjerg. For technical surveys, inspections, and preparation, work may be offshore for shorter periods, and you should expect to travel to other Semco Maritime locations. Approximately 25 travel days per year. Generally, office attendance is required, with remote workdays possible in cases of special need.

Your Profile & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager—preferably in the offshore industry.
• Higher technical education.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to plan own assignments and deliver on time.
• Structured and flexible approach with strong interpersonal skills; proactive, innovative, and collaborative attitude; willingness to take responsibility.
• Valid work permit for the US.
