Overview

The Manager of Recruitment is responsible for managing all recruitment, hiring, and onboarding efforts at The Overlook, consistent with The Overlook's Guiding Principles and business goals. In conjunction with the Senior Director of People and Culture, the Manager of Recruitment will assess and analyze the ever-changing recruitment landscape, develop and implement a long-term and short-term Pipeline Strategy, and create reports, tools, and systems that streamline the hiring process, leading to effective hiring decisions and optimizing the recruitment and hiring process.

Principle Duties / Essential Functions

  • Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outcomes of recruitment and onboarding by creating and monitoring dashboards, sharing timely and accurate updates to managers and leadership.
  • Develop and maintain the strategic vision for acquiring, retaining, and engaging talent at all levels, consistent with The Overlook's Guiding Principles.
  • Support efforts and further our progress to be the Employer of Choice, model it, and empower its practice by driving innovative processes by leveraging technology to the fullest.
  • Manages, coaches, develops and evaluates all direct reports, including cross-training of Team Members, goal setting, and establishing metrics.
  • Determines and addresses recruitment, hiring, and onboarding needs in collaboration with all levels of management.
  • Leads and implements all hiring programs and tools with frequent Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and pivots when needed.
  • Ensures a transparent, effective, and efficient hiring process that results in top talent hires and a positive candidate experience, including manager training, support tools, etc.
  • Develops sourcing strategies and pipelines to meet the hiring needs.
  • Ensures the effective utilization of social media to support employment branding and effective sourcing
  • Drives employment branding efforts that align with organizational readiness.
  • Proactively and continuously identifies and implements cutting-edge Talent Acquisition and Onboarding strategies at The Overlook to optimize hiring speed, quality, and intelligence. In collaboration with Senior Leadership identifies, articulates, and implements policies, procedures, and practices related to recruitment, retention, onboarding, and engagement that may impact the mission and climate of the organization.
  • Acts as the point of contact for all candidates and new hires during the onboarding process.
  • Ensure all new hires have appropriate certifications, licenses, references, etc. during the onboarding process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field – Preferred.
  • Strong in Job Description development and understand what minimum qualifications, titles, and responsibilities are needed and align with the need – Preferred.
  • 5+ years of Recruitment Management, Hiring, and Retention Optimization – Preferred.
  • Health Care and/or senior living experience a plus, non-profit – Preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of all federal, state, and local employment regulations – Required.
  • Extensive experience with change management, role development, and partnership building.
  • Solid experience in developing and implementing tools and rolling out workflows.
  • Solid history of leadership effectiveness that demonstrates results in a growth organization.
