Night Forklift Operator
Position Summary: The Night forklift operator is responsible for putting away, dropping down, and rotating full pallets of stock through the warehouse inventory reserve racks using a stand-up or sit-down forklift.
What you'lldo:
- Maneuver Stand-Up, High Reach, or Sit-Down Forklift to put away or let down pallets into warehouse racks up to 46 feet high.
- Picks/sorts and replenishes product from upper racks to front pick bins.
- Unloads product from trailers using forklift trucks and powered riding pallet jacks.
- Manually moves product from receiving dock to proper storage location.
- Monitors and enforces safe product handling procedures.
- Replenishes product from upper storage rack to lower pick bins within cooler.
- Monitors product quality as product is being moved.
- Breaks down pallets on receiving dock.
- Maintains cleanliness (sweep, mop, restack pallets) of receiving docks and pick bin area.
- Cleans and charges forklift at the end of shift.
- Record daily actions by use of RF Scan Gun
About you: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years of forklift experience.
- Team player who works productively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to pass a forklift operating exam.
- Warehouse/distribution facility experience preferred.
