Performing daily safety inspection of forklift and work area, weighing scrap materials, transports finished goods and raw material to staging areas. What you'll do: Material Handler's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performs daily safety inspection of forklift and work area. Communicates with his/her counterparts on other shifts to ensure a smooth transition. Weighs scrap from the previous shift. Transports finished goods and raw materials to staging areas, load/unload trailers following inspection of all floors and walls of incoming trailers before loading. Secure chocks; install glad hand lock and trailer jacks; complete the AFC loading dock safety sign-off sheet. Must be available to work overtime on short notice.
