Summary/Objective

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes.

Essential Functions

• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Test electrical systems and circuits for safety and compatibility using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment including power construction tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

None.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the electrical field in a commercial or industrial environment, or equivalent vocational training and experience.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, follow instructions, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes for installation and repair.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Availability to report to multiple job sites as assigned.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Employees may work in varying temperatures, outdoor and indoor environments, and may be exposed to noise, fumes, dust, and confined spaces. Physical demands include working with heavy machinery, climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and visual acuity for color-coded wiring.

Travel

Travel may be required, typically not overnight.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman's license
• Prior military experience
• High School diploma or GED
