Job Mission
To grow our market share via Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
The role will lead the growth of profitable sales and market share of Piab Vacuum Conveying solutions with OEMs across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a business plan to build a large and strong network of OEMs that includes repeating sales in 2 categories: standard conveyers & conveyers that are customized to the OEMs unique requirements
- Develop knowledge and competency in complex selling and strategic account management with OEMS drawing knowledge and best practices from our global sales teams
- Identify new strategic OEMS & generate opportunities to increase market share
- Develop individualized support & marketing material, in collaboration with the Marketing team, targeted at OEMs
- Develop, execute and own the VC OEM partner program, leveraging best practices from OEM programs already in existence cross-divisionally
- Document and manage sales activity including customer visits, opportunities, and account information through active use of Salesforce CRM
- Provide technical and sales support to OEMs
- Assist with trade show preparation and coverage
- Participate in joint and direct sales calls based on potential or strategic account value
- Develop and provide training for new and existing OEMS
- Provide VC Commercial Director with weekly and monthly updates about significant activity, opportunities, and challenges
- Inform Stakeholders (internal and external) with updates on market conditions, competitor activity and product development opportunities
- Be the voice of the customer, while keeping Piab initiatives & goals at the forefront
- Always respond to the customer in a timely manner, even if there is no immediate resolution
- Take an active part in team efforts to achieve / surpass team goals
In this role you are required to act accordingly to the Piab Code of Conduct and know and follow the Piab values, mission and routines. This role acquire travel to both Piab and external parties' domestic and international destinations when applicable.

This position reports to the Vacuum Conveying Commercial Director, North America & South America (Central).
Skills and abilities
- Experience working for or selling to OEMs
- General understanding of pneumatics and pneumatic systems - preferred
- Demonstrates strong hunting and farming skills
- Experience with online webinar and conference tools (Teams, GoToMeeting, etc)
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
- Strong organizational skills
- Capable of working independently and comfortable making decisions
- Excellent English skills: verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
- Possess a growth mind set
- Business Development: identifies and seizes commercial opportunities, has a strong positive impact on business growth and profitability
- Initiative & Responsibility: acts on own initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the results

Experience and Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience.
- Experience must be specifically with or for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

Up to or more than 50%
Work
If you are located within a commutable distance to the office, this position will be in-office in Canton, MA. If you are located outside of a commutable distance, the position will be remote. Additionally, you must be located near a commercial airport.
