Responsibilities:

1. Setting up equipment seat adjustments and weights according to member's workout charts.
2. Advising members when to increase weights and monitoring form on each machine.
3. Keeping members engaged in their program and motivated to achieve their fitness goals.
4. Responsible for fitness area including replenishing supplies, equipment cleanliness, and general maintenance.
5. Providing superior customer service excellence supporting members to achieve their goals with a keen eye on safety and proper form.

Skills:

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Ability to engage and retain personal training clientele.
3. Demonstrated ability to educate and motivate individuals toward safely achieving fitness goals.
4. Ensuring organization, appearance, general maintenance, and safety of fitness areas.
5. Providing accurate information and promoting Center programs and services.
6. Providing immediate, efficient, and friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
7. Team player assisting with various Center programs and service activities, as needed.

Position Requirements:

Our ideal candidate is pursuing or has earned a degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, or related field and/or has or is working towards a nationally recognized Personal Trainer Certification. CPR, First Aid, AED Certified, or willing to complete upon hire.

Hours and shifts to be determined to best serve members.
