SEASONAL BEACH EMPLOYMENT


The Town of Mashpee Recreation Department welcomes applications for Seasonal Beach positions. Positions work up to 5 days a week, 7.5 hrs/day, including weekends and holidays, between the operating hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm, Mid-June thru Labor Day. MUST be able to attend orientation on Saturday, May 31st. Positions are open until filled.

MUST MEET THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT OF THE POSITION BY 5/31/25

LIFEGUARD POSITIONS MUST HAVE CURRENT CERTIFICATIONS BY 5/31/25


Beach Superintendent, $23.00/hr
(minimum age requirement of 21 years old)

Head Lifeguards, $21.38/hr
(minimum age requirement of 18 years old)

Lifeguards, $19.00/hr
(minimum age requirement of 16 years old)

Junior Lifeguards, $17.00/hr
(minimum age requirement of 15 years old)

Summer Gate Attendants, $16.00/hr
(minimum age requirement of 16 years old)

Sailing Instructor, $24.00/hr
(minimum age requirement of 18 years old)

Water Safety Instructors, $19.75/hr
(minimum age requirement of 17 years old)
